While the Parish targets homes in the process of repair or funding, we would like to share something that we also consider blight, and invite you to take the tour yourself and really drive this area and have a good hard look at this. It is so shocking and so massive it's just mind whirling why this shouldn't be torn down or even all marked with the Demo X on it. You will not find Demo trucks anywhere in this area. Our Question is why?

In your own pics you show several slabbed lots also just last week a complex that had burned was demoed just around the corner from your pics. Why don't you post that one. If you love to investigate get a list of structures from the Parish or drive around the Parish and take pics of structures that are in the process of demo (take pics before, during and after)if your accusations are real it should not be hard to prove.
ReplyDeleteare those the Village Square CBDG buyouts and Hazard Mitigation buyouts? is so, none of those buildings have gone to closing; could be the holdup on those demo's
