Taffaros micro managment

Mr . Taffaro is trying to micro manage and manipulate the system to make sure he and his cronies benefit from the Hurricane fundings while the people who really suffered scramble to regain their lives. The very people who are suppose to be helped, have repeatedly been held back, prolonging their suffering.

Budget woes, sudden internal firings, conflicts with everyone he should be building relationships with for the betterment of the Parish. The list is endless to those who seem to be in some dispute with him.

Always mugging for the camera, he seems to enjoy and be quite animated in interviews, coming off as a sweet lovable guy. Then the lights go out, the camera is gone and the bad behavior begins all over again. "No One Speaks to the Media But Me!" was barked to all employees during one of last years storms.

Businesses everywhere cringe at the question, "Why not build one in St. Bernard?" They will quickly and quietly say that our President is extremely difficult to work with. Hospital aside, even the DMV is considering not coming back to St. Bernard.

Are we trying to let our people come home, build businesses and restore our community? Is this what we really want? Why is there so much fear and disdain surrounding this office, that many choose, to just not want the hassle. And moreover have our people made a choice to not return because the hassle is too much to handle after such a fresh loss with the storm?
